TV Inspection & Cleaning
As part of your preventative maintenance program or prior to any water or sewer pipeline repair, IPR crews will provide complete TV inspection and cleaning services.
IPR offers in-house CCTV inspection and evaluation services. We utilize advanced pan and tilt cameras to perform 360-degree inspection of the pipeline, including detailed views of lateral connections, inspections from the main line and joints, cracks or holes. We then provide complete damage assessment and rehabilitation plans.
IPR Vac trucks are available 24/7 to handle all your sewer cleaning or overflow situations.
During any pipe inspection, IPR will identify, locate, mark and provide a thorough report on the following:
- Collapsed pipe
- Obstructions or debris
- Structural cracking, with and without deflection
- Missing portion of pipe wall
- Sagging or excessively deflected joints
- Cracked and open joints
- Root intrusion
- Protruding joint sealing material
- Corrosion conditions including: exposed aggregate, exposed reinforcement and/or disintegrated wall, exposed soil surrounding the pipe
- Infiltration points and amounts
All IPR CCTV Operators are PACP certified and are qualified to assess and document the condition of underground piping systems for the management of infrastructure deterioration and renewal.
The Pipeline Assessment and Certification Program (PACP) is the North American Standard for pipeline defect identification and assessment. It provides standardization and consistency to the methods in which pipeline conditions are Identified, evaluated and managed.
Developed in partnership with the Water Research Centre (WRc), PACP is the North American adaptation of the United Kingdom’s TV inspection coding system developed by the WRc. The coding system is the recognized standard in the United Kingdom and much of Europe and Asia.
